One winter morning, in an underground parking garage, Charley is ambushed by four masked men. They shoot him 22 times at point-blank range and leave him for dead. Miraculously, he survives – but his wife is murdered in the attack, and his children are traumatized.

The killers and their mastermind, a younger, ambitious gangster named (played by José Garcia), assume Charley is dead. However, Charley clings to life, awakens in a hospital, and slowly recovers. When the police prove unable (or unwilling) to bring the attackers to justice, Charley takes matters into his own hands. Despite having only one functioning arm and a body riddled with bullets, he methodically hunts down each of the 22 conspirators – not just the shooters, but everyone who ordered or facilitated the hit.
