Don hears screams and rushes back. He sees Jacob on fire, and Alice and the infected boy emerge. Don, Alice, and Jacob (now burning alive) run toward a rowboat. An infected Sally attacks. As Don pushes the boat into the water, he makes a horrific choice: he shoves Alice aside to save himself, leaving her to be swarmed and torn apart by the infected.
