By the time this update rolled around, Adobe had already released InDesign 1.0 (1999) and 2.0 (2002), signaling PageMaker’s death warrant. Yet, for many small print shops, newsletters, and corporate publishers, 7.0.1a was the last comfortable pair of shoes before being forced into a new, unfamiliar wardrobe.
