Michael’s voice over the bullhorn: “Sunny Dixit! Stop the vehicle! There is nowhere left to run!” The truck screeches to a halt on a half-built flyover. Below: a thirty-foot drop into the Mithi River.

Sunny doesn’t answer. He pulls out a fresh canvas – but instead of paint, he sketches a face. A face no one in the room recognizes. A ghost.

Michael freezes. “Why would you tell me that?”

Zara’s fingers fly over a keyboard. “They’re not tracking the GPS. They’re tracking our engine heat signature. Someone sold us out.” Michael’s voice over the bullhorn: “Sunny Dixit

Michael studies the boy’s eyes – hollow with grief and greed. “Why?”

Mansoor closes his eyes. “You’re not a counterfeiter anymore, Sunny. You’re a terrorist.” Below: a thirty-foot drop into the Mithi River

For the first time, Michael hesitates. “Put a two-man surveillance on Mathur. But keep the main team on Sunny. He’s close. I can feel him.” Inside a modified refrigerated truck, the press hums to life. Sunny watches the first sheet roll out – not a note, but a perfect replica of a Reserve Bank of India internal memo , ordering all new currency to be verified against a “revised security thread” that doesn’t exist.
