After a devastating cyberattack exposes every undercover MI6 agent in the field, a broken and betrayed James Bond must return from the dead to protect his enigmatic new Quartermaster—the only person who can stop the attack—while confronting a ghost from M’s past who knows Bond better than any enemy before. COLD OPEN (EXT. ISTANBUL – NIGHT) Rain lashes the Grand Bazaar. JAMES BOND (40s, rugged but weary) chases a mercenary through the labyrinthine market. The merc carries a hard drive containing the NOC list —every MI6 operative’s identity.
Bond kills Kane—not with a bullet, but with M’s old service knife. Silent. Personal. M’s funeral. Rain. Bond stands alone. Q hands him a box—M’s final orders. Inside: a new beretta, a fresh license to kill, and a handwritten note: “007. The dead are only gone if we forget them. Don’t forget me. —M”
