Here’s a short piece inspired by Legally Blonde — specifically the theme of being underestimated and using it to your advantage. The first time someone called me “Legally Blonde,” it wasn’t a compliment. It was a senior partner, half-smiling over his espresso, after I corrected his misreading of Rapaport v. Barron . He looked at my pink blazer, my highlighted hair, my smile — and saw a punchline.
