It starts with a bad idea and a cheap disguise. Two friends, down on their luck and drowning in the kind of dead-end thirties that smell like instant ramen and unanswered emails, find a pair of prop cop uniforms at a costume shop going out of business. It’s meant to be a joke for a party. But then they wear them out. Just for a minute. Just to feel what it’s like. For the first time in years, no one looks through them
And the world changes.
