1. Introduction Lili en Marleen is a celebrated Flemish television series produced by VRT (Vlaamse Radio- en Televisieomroeporganisatie), which originally aired on TV1 (now VRT 1). The series ran for ten seasons, comprising 130 episodes of approximately 45–50 minutes each, from 25 September 1994 to 25 May 2003 .
