1. Introduction & Origins Midas Gen is an acclaimed general-purpose structural analysis and design system, widely used for buildings, bridges, civil infrastructures, and special structures. Midas Gen 2 represents the second generation of this software, introduced by Midas IT (now part of Midas Civil/Gen family) to modernize the solver, user experience, and interoperability.
