Watching Jim swing that gold 1977 Pontiac Firebird Esprit around the dirt roads of "Malibu" (actually the Columbia Ranch) in low-bitrate digital is fine, but watching the raw files on Archive.org gives you the texture of the era. No CGI. Just stunt doubles and squealing tires.
