Investigating, the Sailor Guardians discover that the bus is being used by a Cardian (a monster created by the Makaiju Tree’s energy, though in this arc, the enemy is the Black Moon Clan’s Rubeus). During the fight, the bus disappears with Amaderasu, Usagi, and Chibiusa on board. The other Guardians cannot follow. Just when Amaderasu overpowers Sailor Moon, a new Sailor Guardian appears: (Rei Hino), who had been training at her grandfather’s temple.
