The Situation You boot an older Toshiba (Satellite C600, L750, Tecra R940, Portégé R700, etc.). Instead of a simple password box, you see: A system password is required. Please enter the 32-character System/Challenge Code. Under that is a long string like: F7A9-3C4B-1E2D-8F6A-0B4C... (32 hex digits).
