Before he was the brooding, adamantium-laced mutant we know, he was James Howlett, a sickly boy in 19th-century Canada. Just rewatch Logan (2017) and pretend this is a bad dream Logan had. Or, watch the Deadpool 2 post-credits scene where Wade goes back in time to kill this movie’s version of himself. That’s the true canon. X-Men Origens- Wolverine
Only for completists or fans who want to see Jackman and Schreiber chew scenery. It’s easily the weakest of the Wolverine solo films ( The Wolverine and Logan are vastly superior).
